Call for Videos
http://www.vcl.uh.edu/~VPCVPR05/
Deadline: March 22, 2005
We invite participants to submit videos showing the results of computer
vision related research. We anticipate videos that represent either a
single piece of work (algorithms, technique, novel applications) or a
collection of works. Videos advertising commercial products are not
appropriate. Selected videos will be included in the Video Proceedings
and in the conference DVD and they will be shown throughout the
conference.

Topics of interest include all aspects of computer vision and pattern
recognition including, but not limited to the following areas: Sensors
and Early Vision Video Analysis and Event Recognition
Color and Texture Face and Gesture
Segmentation and Grouping Perceptual Interfaces
Motion and Tracking Statistical Methods and
Learning
Stereo and Structure from Motion Performance Evaluation
Image-Based Modeling Biomedical Image Analysis
Illumination and Reflectance Modeling Image and Video Retrieval
Shape Representation Vision Systems
Object Recognition Applications Videos
must be narrated in English and should not exceed three minutes in length
or 100MB in size. Each video must be accompanied with a one-page
description including the title, authors and contact information, a
description, references, and acknowledgements. The descriptions of the
videos will appear as a section of the CVPR proceedings. The authors are
strongly encouraged to create a URL linking to the data from which the
video was produced. In addition, the authors may be asked to reduce the
length of the accepted video based on space restrictions. If you have
any doubts about the suitability of your video idea, please discuss it
with the video chairs prior to your submission. Please submit your video
at www.vcl.uh.edu/~VPCVPR05/ Important Dates
Submissions due: March 22, 2005
