Image and Vision Computing New Zealand is New Zealand's premier
academic conference on all aspects of Computer Vision, Image
Processing, Visualisation and Computer Graphics. 

In 2005, IVCNZ is being held in the beautiful city of Dunedin. Dunedin
is the gateway to the wonders of the South Island of New Zealand
including the rugged coastline, Central Otago, and the mountain
resorts of Queenstown and Wanaka. IVCNZ2005 is co-located with
Graphite 2005 and is running just prior to Graphite. This offers
participants a great opportunity to experience two quality conferences
in a fantastic location. 

Submissions for original and unpublished research papers are invited
on topics including, but not limited to:

Augmented and Virtual Reality
Automated visual surveillance
Computer graphics
Enhancement of video and still images
Feature detection and feature extraction
Geometric algebra in vision and graphics
Graph matching
Image compression and coding
Image based rendering
Image analysis and understanding
Mesh acquisition and simplification
Motion tracking and analysis
Object recognition
Pattern recognition, clustering, and classification
Reconstruction techniques
Scientific visualization
Signal processing
Sonar and acoustical imaging
Statistical inference and characterisation
Stereo analysis
Shape recovery from multiple images

Submissions must be complete manuscripts of 4 to 6 pages in double
column format, and should be submitted as pdf files. Paper templates
in latex and doc format are provided on the conference homepage.
Presentations at the conference will be either oral or as posters.
Both types of papers will have equal space in the proceedings.

Sep 12th  - deadline for submissions
Oct 10th  - notification of acceptance
Oct 17th  - final papers due
Oct 17th  - last date for author registration
Nov 29-30 - IVCNZ conference
Dec 1-3   - Graphite conference follows IVCNZ
