Call for papers

The purpose of this workshop is to provide an international forum for
discussion of state-of-the-art and future views on visual content
processing techniques, standards, and applications, covering areas such
as video/image analysis, representation and coding, communications and
delivery, consumption, synthesis, protection, and adaptation. 
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
 

 -    representation, coding and pre/post-processing
-    feature extraction and content-based segmentation
-    content classification and identification 
-    3D modeling and coding
-    facial analysis, modeling and coding
-    scalability, communications and delivery
-    semantic analysis and indexing 
-    information filtering and retrieval
-    summarization and content personalization
-    security and protection
-    virtual reality, gaming and entertainment
-    wireless/wireline environments
-    standards and applications

The workshop will include four invited panels, to facilitate for
exchanging ideas and discussion.  Panelists will include steering
committee members and internationally known researchers. Contributed
papers will be presented as posters.

Prospective authors are invited to submit electronically a summary of not
more than 2 pages including results, figures and references. 

 Deadlines:
Submission of papers (to be received by):     June 6, 2005
Notification of acceptance:                            June 30, 2005
Submission of camera-ready papers:             July 31, 2005
