AERFAI Summer School on

ACTION AND OBJECT CLASSIFICATION TECHNIQUES IN DIGITAL IMAGES

Granada, June 12-17, 2006

The Spanish Association for Pattern Recognition (AERFAI) in collaboration
with the University of Granada is organizing the first edition of its
Summer School (AERFAISS^Ò06) on one of the most important present topic in
computer vision: Action and Object Classification Techniques in Digital
Images.

This event is open to any European researcher or PhD-student who is
interested in learning or refreshing their knowledge about the most
successful approaches in the fields of object & human-action
detection/categorization and recognition.

The Summer School is organized as a one-week intensive course. Leading
experts in the field shall present each tutorial which shall be followed
by a practice session with specific software so that participants can gain
a better understanding of the theory. The list of invited speakers is:
