CALL FOR PAPERS
2006 IEEE International Conference on
Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing
14-19 May 2006
Toulouse, France
http://www.icassp2006.org
Note: Paper Submission deadline is 21 October 2005.

The 2006 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and
Signal Processing (ICASSP 2006), the flagship conference of the IEEE
Signal Processing Society, will be held at the Centre des Congres
Pierre Baudis, located in the heart of Toulouse, France, 14-19 May
2006.

ICASSP is the world's largest and most comprehensive technical
conference focused on signal processing, its disciplines and
applications. ICASSP 2006 will feature world-renowned speakers,
tutorial sessions, exhibits, and more than 50 lectures and poster
sessions covering:

  - Signal Processing Theory and Methods
  - Audio and Electroacoustics
  - Speech Processing
  - Spoken Language Processing
  - Industry Technology Track
  - Multimedia Signal Processing
  - Signal Processing for Communication
  - Sensor Array and Multichannel Signal Processing
  - Design and Implementation of Signal Processing Systems
  - Machine Learning for Signal Processing
  - Signal Processing Education
  - Image and Multidimensional Signal Processing
  - Bio-Imaging and Signal Processing
  - Emerging and specialized areas.

Toulouse, the capital of the Mid-Pyrenees region, is situated on the
Garonne River, in a plain midway between the Mediterranean Sea and the
Atlantic Ocean. Toulouse is at the heart of an historically rich, but
little known, region populated by castles and walled villages that
bear testament to a life and times that mingled religion with
renaissance values. The abundance of red brick and tile construction
materials give Toulouse its identity as "la ville rose" -- the rose
city. Toulouse is the home of France's aeronautical and space
industries.

Submission of Papers:
Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length, four-page
papers, including figures and references, to the ICASSP Technical
Committee. All ICASSP papers will be handled and reviewed
electronically. See the Paper Submission page on the website for
further details. Please note that the submission dates for papers are
strict deadlines.
