Call for Papers

Image and Vision Computing New Zealand is an annual international
conference
on all aspects of Computer Vision, Image Processing, Visualisation
and Computer Graphics.

In 2006, IVCNZ will be held on Great Barrier Island, a rugged and
unspoilt island at the entrance to the
Hauraki Gulf. About 100kms from the centre of Auckland, Great Barrier
Island protects the Hauraki Gulf from the
Pacific Ocean. It has a permanent population of only 1000 people and
is mostly
wilderness with excellent walking tracks, ancient kauri forests and
indigeneous wild-life.
It can be reached from Auckland by light plane in about 20 minutes or
regular ferry in about 3 hours.
(Great Barrier's isolation means that it is occasionally difficult to
reach by scheduled transport services:
a backup location on the Coromandel Peninsula - a similar distance
from Auckland - has been
reserved.)

Conference Co-Chairs: John Morris and Patrice Delmas

Relevant topics include, but are not limited to:

Augmented and Virtual Reality
Automated visual surveillance
