It has been suggested the PAMI TC needs to involve more people in the
various meetings and has been doing so, albiet quietly, for a while.
For example ICCV07 worked to ensure there eas zero overlap in area
chairs between CVPR07 and ICCV07.

In an attempt to engage a wider array of people in IEEE PAMI TC run
meetings this is a call for volunteers. You are always free to send me
a mail, with your suggests but we have a few "positions" to fill and
felt it would be good to do a general call.

The first is for a publication chair for ICCV 2007. This is the person
that will coordinate the final papers with IEEE, and will do the
actual creation of the PDF and DVDs masters for the meeting, and
coordinate with whom they choose for mass-production. We are hoping
for a volunteer with some experience (and maybe some students/staff who
will help them). If you have never done DVD production, this is
probably not the time to learn.

Last CVPR it was agreed to start having a yearly winder meeting with a
co-location of workshops (alternating warm/ski type locations each
year 2007 is in Austin Texas, 2008 is in Colorado. 2009 will be
Discussed at CVPR07's pami TC meeting)

So the second volunter call for those interested in organizing an
additional workshop or other roles in the 2008 workshop on application
of computer vision (WACV) / Workshop on Visual Motion (Motion) and any
other workshops that would like to co-locate with them in January 2008
(i.e. next year). The space is not yet under contract and so there is
still time to suggest 1-2 additional workshops to colocate and be on the
same DVD. The location will be in Colorado (also stated last year)
but may be at a different location than the 2005 Wacv/motion/pets.
