VIIP 2007 will take place from August 29 – 31, 2007.

Location

Palma de Mallorca, the capital city of Spain's Balearic Islands,
offers exquisite sunshine and astounding beaches. Tucked into the
beautiful bay of Bahia de Palma, this thriving town is a perfect
mixture of the Balearic Islands' long and unique history and exciting
modern culture. Visitors can climb through the trails of the Serra de
Taramuntana Mountains and enjoy the beautiful landscapes, tour the
many local farms and olive groves, or just head out on their own to
discover romantic fishing villages and hidden beaches.

Visualization, Imaging, and Image Processing (VIIP 2007)

The IASTED international Conference on Visualization, Imaging, and
Image Processing (VIIP 2007) will establish an international medium
for the exchange of new ideas and practical experience between
researchers and practitioners working in the fields of imaging, image
processing, and visualization. It is an opportunity to present and
observe the latest research, results, and ideas in these areas, as
well as their applications.

VIIP 2007 is sponsored by the International Association of Science and Technology for Development (IASTED), with the assistance of:

    * Technical Committee on Visualization

In cooperation with the World Modelling and Simulation Forum (WMSF).

Conference Chair

J.J. Villanueva is the Director of CVC and Prof. at the Autonomous
University of Barcelona, Spain. He has participated in many
conferences and is the author of several papers on computer vision.

Program Chair

Angel D. Sappa is part of the Computer Vision Centre at the University
of Barcelona, Spain. His current research focuses on range image
processing and analysis, 3D modeling, and model-based segmentation.
