IEEE Workshop on Applications of Computer Vision

This workshop will provide an international forum for industrial,
academic, and government researchers to present and discuss the
application of computer vision to various problem domains of practical
significance. Papers will be organized in a single track. In addition,
the workshop will feature demonstrations sessions, video sessions and
panel discussions.
Original papers are solicited on applications of computer vision that
include (but are not limited to) the topics listed below:
Visual database
Image based rendering
Navigation
Surveillance
3D sensing
Security & law enforcement
Space operations
Object recognition
Cartography and GIS
Highway/vehicle systems
Robotics
Human-computer interaction
Document analysis & OCR

IMPORTANT DATES:

SUBMISSIONS:
Manuscripts should be received by Sept. 15th, for review by the program
committee.
Emphasis should be on novel technical approaches and/or performance
evaluation for a given task. Papers (in English) should be submitted in
FINAL CAMERA-READY FORMAT with 2 columns on standard (8.5"x11" or A4)
pages. Columns should be separated by 5/16" spacing, and should be 3.25"
in width and 9" in length. Text should be 10-point type, Times Roman
font (or similar). A maximum of 6 pages are permitted for each
submission, including references and illustrations. The title, names of
authors, affiliations, and e-mail addresses should appear centered near
the top of the first page. The authors are also encouraged to send a
video demo, or propose a web site for live demos of their work. The
program committee would definitely take this additional information into
account.
In addition to the manuscript, each submission should contain a summary
page that answers the following questions separately: (1) What is the
application area of the work reported in this paper? (2) How far has
this work progressed to date? (3) What is the primary significance of
this work? (4) What is the major new contribution of this work ? (5) How
is this paper related to previously published work?
