Call for papers and Call for demonstrations - 2008 IEEE Intelligent
Vehicles Symposium, June 4-6, Eindhoven, The Netherlands


Dear colleague:

The 2008 IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium takes place in Eindhoven, the
Netherlands during June 4 - 6, 2008. The objective of the symposium is to
encourage knowledge sharing about research and applications for Intelligent
Vehicles and Intelligent Transport. The symposium is targeted at researchers
from industry as well as researchers from universities. The conference has a
single session format, with both oral sessions and interactive poster
sessions. Keynote presentations will be given by speakers from PATH,
DaimlerChrysler and TomTom.

Eindhoven (and its region) is known as key area of the Dutch High Tech
Industry, including the Dutch automotive industry that consists of over 200
companies. A range of Dutch automotive companies belong to the world top
ranking companies.
On June 3, meetings and workshops in conjunction with the conference will be
held.  On June 6, the road right next to the conference venue will be closed
for normal traffic in order to provide a perfect site for demonstrations of
intelligent vehicles. If you are interested to provide a demonstration, the
demonstration conditions and program are published on the website.

Important dates:
 
15 December 2007: paper submission deadline 
1 February 2008: notification of acceptance 
15 March 2008: Camera-ready manuscript due for proceedings 
15 March 2008: Workshop proposal deadline 
15 March 2008: Demo proposal deadline
