OVERVIEW
--------
Given the ubiquity of digital images and videos, computational image
and video analysis and interpretation continues to be an exciting and
dynamic research area. SSIAI-2008 will bring together researchers and
practitioners in academia, industry, and government to share and
discuss the latest advances in this field. The biennial symposium
seeks original contributions reporting novel research directions and
exploratory applications.
