CALL FOR PAPERS
The First IEEE Workshop on Video/Image Sensor Networks 2008
January 7-8, 2008
Copper Mountain Resort
Copper Mountain, CO

Sensor networks are being deployed for a large number of applications including building automation, environmental control, traffic control, customer resource management, surveillance and monitoring. This two day workshop will provide an international forum for industrial, academic, and government researchers to present and discuss the application of computer vision and networking technologies to sensor networks. Papers will be organized in a single track. On the first day, the workshop will feature presentations, demonstrations sessions and panel discussions. The second day will feature a discussion of standardization issues for sensor networks. Original manuscripts that focus on the following topics are sought:

          o Distributed content analysis
          o Content distribution
          o Sensor network topology inference
o Automatic camera calibration and geo-location
          o Information fusion
          o Situational awareness
          o Multi-camera target tracking
          o Site wide event analysis
          o Context sensitive video analysis
          o Experimental test-beds
